Join us Friday, May 8th from 6-8PM for a discussion between Clarence Henderson of the Greensboro Woolworth sit-in, Virginia Williams of Durham’s Royal Ice Cream Parlor sit-in, Joseph Holt who made the first attempt at school integration in Raleigh, moderated by Durham Public Historian Eddie Davis. This event will close out the successful run of the Museum’s A Creative Protest: MLK Comes to Durham exhibit.
