Eileen Watts Welch and Blake Hill-Saya present photos and artifacts about this Durham doctor, philanthropist, and leader in education. Since this is a Third Friday event, there will also will be music under our gazebo, provided by Counterclockwise String Band dobro player Tad Smith– the perfect complement for this celebration of a Durham leader who bridged the 19th & 20th centuries!
