MoDH’s World Tour: “L is for Legacy” at Spring Valley Elementary
Posted on February 14, 2025
It has been a busy season for our traveling exhibits here at the Museum of Durham History. Last week, we installed L is for Legacy in Spring Valley Elementary, a biographical display on Floyd McKissick Sr. and a perfect complement to Black History Month school curriculum. In fact, Spring Valley students loved the exhibit so much, the principal asked to keep it for a second week!
No matter the time of year, our traveling exhibits are ready to mobilize. Reach out to Programming Manager Erin Smith or give us a call at 919-246-9993 to book Faces of Durham, E is for ESP, or L is for Legacy.
