The Museum has been invited to share its innovative museum model at a special event happening alongside the American Alliance for Museums national conference in Atlanta later this month.

Each year, The Museum Group, a top-tier museum consulting organization, hosts a series of “Conversations,” special programs that occur in conjunction with the AAM’s annual meeting. Conversation participants are by invitation. MoDH will discuss its community model and how it has used a small central facility and programs throughout the community to maximize its impact.

Executive Director Katie Spencer, the board’s immediate past chair Lew Myers and founding chair Tom Krakauer will participate in telling the Durham Museum’s story.
