MoDH at the North Carolina Museum Council’s 2025 Conference

This past weekend, Treat Harvey and Clay Harrison had the opportunity to represent the Museum of Durham History at the North Carolina Museums Council’s 2025 Conference  in Raleigh, NC. While there, they connected with several North Carolina museum institutions, and got to promote the Museum’s mission and programming on the state level.

Speaking of sharing, Clay was selected as a speaker for the Conference’s programming, and was given an hour presentation slot. He spoke on the Museum’s various “Museum Beyond Walls” projects, which encapsulate our outside exhibits, offsite exhibits, online exhibits, and traveling exhibits. These topics were very appropriate for the Conference’s overarching theme of Museums Unwalled: Expanding Horizons.
