History Bike Ride Floods Durham Streets
Posted on November 1, 2015We were so happy to see everyone who joined us Oct. 24 as we explored downtown historic sites (as well as our very own History Hub) for Bike-A-Bull City! Fearless leader Ernie Dollar took riders on a leisurely tour that began and ended at Bull City Ciderworks, stopping at various sites to give us a glimpse into some of Durham’s well-known (and lesser known) past. We appreciate the cheeriness of drivers who patiently waited for our peloton (that’s bikespeak for “gang”) to roll through intersections. We like to think that railroad culture so ingrained in Durham, folks expect an occasional delay. Special thank you to Bike Durham and master storyteller Ernie Dollar for an awesome ride. See more photos here. Add yours using #MoDH and #BikeABullCity
We’ll gear up again when the weather returns in our favor, so keep your eyes on our Events page!
