The Museum of Durham History just installed a great new piece of technology that is intended for the recording of oral histories up to 30 minutes long! Similar to our Video Story Kiosk, the purpose of this audio-dedicated device is to document the experiences of all Durhamites and visitors who want to share their stories with us. All recordings will be uploaded to our SoundCloud for everyone to enjoy.  Stop by anytime we are open to try out this great addition to the Museum.

Can’t make into the museum? No problem! Our virtual Story Kiosk can be accessed from the comfort of your own home! And our Youtube Channel also hosts a lot of our submitted oral histories, as well.
