Kids’ Craft Event: Durham Central Park Themed Mural
Calling kids of all ages! MoDH needs your help to make a mural for the Museum’s wall that represents the Durham Central Park neighborhood’s changes throughout history, from a tobacco market to a modern place of innovation! On Saturday, June 5 from 10AM-1PM, stop by the Museum (500 W. Main St.) to decorate a piece that will be incorporated into a larger mural of words related to the Museum’s new exhibit From Tobacco Market to Innovation Hub: Durham’s Central Park Neighborhood. Thanks to our friends at the Scrap Exchange (who are celebrating their 30th anniversary!) for donating some awesome craft materials to make this possible!
This event is part of the ongoing programming for the Museum’s exhibit From Tobacco Market to Innovation Hub: Durham’s Central Park Neighborhood made possible by the Bee Murray Memorial Fund and the Durham Merchants Association Charitable Foundation.
