Hope Valley Elementary School

Hope Valley Elementary School dates to the 1920s, though its current facility was built only in 1999. It replaced a 1928 building that arsonists burned in 1996, though the elementary school itself had closed in 1993 and the building put to alternative uses. The new building resumed the Hope Valley name, taken from the nearby golf-course subdivision developed in the 1920s and 1930s. The current school building has almost 80,000 square feet and a student capacity of 565, with campus of 16.5 acres.
